Holaaa!! Después de casi un año he vuelto a usar esta técnica!! Creo que no lo había hecho porque la vez anterior hice uñas de arcoiris o sea que use muchos colores y quede harta! jajaja Así que esta vez lo hice más sencillo, solo tres colores, rosa, azul y morado. Fue mucho más rápido!
Hi!! Almost one year later I'm using this technique again! I think I hadn't done it because last time I did it, I did rainbow nails so I used a lot of colors and ended up sick of it!! Lol! So this time around, I kept it simple. Just pink, turquoise and purple. It was a lot faster!
Esta técnica se llama "azúcar caramelizada" por que los hilitos de esmalte que forman las líneas parecen justamente eso. En el post anterior incluí el video de Alexis Leigh, un tutorial sobre como hacerlo, aunque no sepas inglés es muy obvio lo que hay que hacer viendo el video. Prácticamente esta técnica consiste en poner unas cuantas gotas de esmalte y dejarlas secar durante unos minutos hasta que su consistencia se haga "chiclosa" y puedas jalar los hilitos para poner sobre tus uñas. Este es el acabado final sin top coat. Como pueden ver, queda increíble el efecto 3D!! Si le pones top coat se aplastan un poco las líneas así que yo lo deje sin top coat. Tardé un poquito en acostumbrarme a la textura porque las líneas se sienten un poquito rasposas, pero nada que moleste mucho.
This is the final look without top coat. I love how squishy the strings look! If you add a top coat the strings will flatten, so I left it this way. It took me a little while to get used to the feeling of the bumpy lines. The texture is a bit rough, but bearable.

The purple I used was Spontaneous by China Glaze.
El rosa es Surreal Appeal de China Glaze.
The pink one is Surreal Appeal by China Glaze.
Y el azul es Too Yatch To Handle de China Glaze. El color base es una capa de Iconic de Revlon. Un tip: Los hilitos salen más delgados si jalas rápido la pintura con el palillo, y salen más gruesos si lo haces lentamente. Ya depende de tí como los prefieras. A mí me gusta más como se ve una combinación de delgados con gruesos.
And the turquoise is Too Yatch To Handle, also by China Glaze. My base color is Iconic by Revlon. Here's a tip: If you pull the toothpick fastly the strings will be thinner, if you pull it slowly they will be thicker. It depends on the look you prefer. I like a combination of both!
