Woohoo!!! Holo day!! Yes! I can bet we will see a lot of holographic polishes today and for that I am super excited :D!
So today I am showing you Halo-graphic by Color Club. At last these polishes arrived to Mexico! I just bought them last week, can you believe that?! But well, better late than never.
There's not much to say about these babies that you haven't heard already, their formula is so good, they have a super strong holo effect and apply really easy :)
I tried to do some stamping but you know, some days stamping just doesn't work! So I went for glitter on top of my holo...almost too much for my eyes to take! I used a combination of Wet n Wild Sparked and Milani's Pink Glitter.
On my middle finger I tried to recreate the Nailasaurus' heart with some loose transparent glitter and filled it up with Essie's Absolutely Shore....but it ended up looking more like a bean! Oh well...it looks decent enough I guess...

Hola, hola chicas como están??! Bienvenidas al reto de la letra "H" y casi puedo apostar que obviamente hoy veremos muchos esmaltes holográficos! que emoción!!! Me encantan este tipo de esmaltes porque no necesitas hacer nada para que luzcan increíbles porque ya lo son :)
Hoy les presento a Halo-graphic de Color Club, es de la colección Halo Hues 2012 y apenas llego a México hace unas semanas, tardó muchísimo! Yo ya había perdido toda esperanza de conseguirlos, pensaba que simplemente no los iban a traer, pero al fin los encontré en Sally yay!!!
En general, los esmaltes holográficos se caracterizan por tener formulas un poco difíciles de aplicar, pueden llegar a ser "chiclosas" o si pasas varias veces la brocha por el mismo lugar provocas un desastre...pero la formula en estos esmaltes es mucho mas "amable" sigue comportándose como holográfica...o sea que si debes ser un poco cuidadosa al aplicarla, pero de las marcas que he probado se me hace la mejor por mucho! Tiene un precio bajo (ochenta y tantos pesos), un efecto holográfico fuertísimo aún en interiores y una formula buena así que si los ves, no dudes en escoger alguno.
Intente hacer estamping pero no tuve suerte así que apliqué glitter degradado con Sparked de Wet n Wild y Pink Glitter de Milani.
En mi dedo medio intente hacer un corazón como el de Nailasaurus, pero no me salió! parece más un frijolito jijiji pero creo que se ve aceptable! Lo rellené con Absolutely Shore de Essie.

ResponderEliminarOMG, Mari! You make me smile soooo much. This is a terrific post. Very happy to hear that HH2012 hit Mexico and that you scored a set. It's a stunning collection of polishes. That's said as one who doesn't feel a need to own sets. This one's special. And, wowowowowow...love the pix! They do the polish justice. There is such a difference between sun-lit and indoor shots on these lacquers! They truly come alive under the sun, and you've captured that. Brava! And that "bean" (for lack of a better word)? Well, it's a purposeful abstraction, and is meant to be there. ;)
